• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
• Before you start to pack possessions up, be sure to create copies of vital documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
• After all of your items are out of your house be sure to do a deep clean. This is extra important if you are a renter.
