• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
• Before starting to pack items up, make sure to create copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• Well before you begin moving in, make sure that you clean up the apartment a bit.
