Moving Tips

• While it is not necessary by law in some states, make sure to do an in-person walk through with your landlord prior to moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out if it is required to reserve an elevator and whether there are any restricted days for moving.
• Before moving your items in do a walk-through of your apartment so that you can get a plan of action for where everything will go.
