• Before beginning to pack belongings up, make sure to make copies of crucial documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• Place blankets or pads on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make sure that you don't damage the floors during the move.
• When looking through your clothes be sure to put aside any clothing that you no longer need and donate them to a charity.
