• As you get closer to a move begin to clean your cabinets and think about donating any food to local homeless shelters.
• If you aren't going to bring certain pieces of furniture with you then try to put them up for sale or donate them.
• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
