• Before starting to pack possessions up, be sure to make copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• As you get nearer to moving begin to unclutter your drawers and think about donating any food to local food pantries.
• While you may want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and furniture that you plan on using in the next day or so.
