Moving Tips

• Place blankets or pads on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make sure that you do not damage the floors during the move.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your bills and other pieces of mail go to your new place. You can do this on the USPS website.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out whether it is necessary to reserve the elevator and whether there are any blocked off days for moving.
