Moving Tips

• While it is not required by law in some states, be sure to do an in person go-over with your landlord prior to moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out if it is required to reserve an elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
• Regardless of what a mover tells you, it is federal law for them to withhold your belongings.
