• Before beginning to pack items up, be sure to make copies of documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
• As you get nearer to moving start to clean your pantry and donate any food to local charities.
• It may sound obvious but make sure to return any items you borrowed before you begin moving.
