• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
• Before you begin to pack things up, be sure to create copies of crucial documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• You may feel pressured to just toss all of the food items in your house, but a number of items like olive oil and other ingredients can and should come with you.
