• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
• If you have decided on packaging up some of your possessions into your car then make sure it is clean well before the day of the move.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your mail go to your new apartment. You can do this on the USPS website.
