• If you are looking to save money, you should move during winter. Winter is when rates tend to be the lowest.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out whether it is required to reserve the elevator and whether there are any blackout days for moving.
• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
