Moving Tips

• Regardless of what a mover tells you, it is the law for them to hold your furniture.
• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out if it is required to reserve the elevator and if there are any restricted days for moving.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
