Moving Tips

• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in person go-over with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• Regardless of what a moving company tells you, it is the law for them to withhold your possessions.
• If you are moving into an apartment, find out whether it is necessary to reserve an elevator and if there are any blackout days for moving.
