Moving Tips

• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your bills go to your new home. You can do this on the USPS website.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, make sure to do an in person walk through with your landlord prior to moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, find out if it is necessary to reserve the elevator and if there are any restricted days for moving.
