Moving Tips

• While it is not required by law in some states, make sure to do an in-person go-over with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your bills and other pieces of mail go to your new home. You can do this on the USPS website.
• Before beginning to pack possessions up, make sure to make copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
