• Make sure to research what doctors are in your new state or city, and if they take your insurance plan.
• Fill your prescriptions (if you can) before you move so that you won’t have to worry about transferring your prescriptions.
• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
